Pressfit Inserts

The 'Pressfit' range of threaded inserts suits applications where the inserts are pressed-in cold. Different designs cater for all types of applications and materials.

• No expensive equipment required
• High torque performance

Applications:

• Hole Preparation: Moulded holes are recommended. The hole diameter is measured at the point where the bottom of the insert meets the moulded hole.
• Installation: The insert must be installed using a slow squeezing action. The insert must be allowed to rotate as it is installed.
• Wall Thickness: The wall thickness is critical to prevent cracking, and should be no less than 1/2 the specified hole diameter.
